As some  of you may know I have been importing horses for almost 9 years now. Recently, I had a really scary situation happen that lead me to a product that I want to share with others. If you are concerned about the current health issues of our world for you and your family, your horses, and pets, i.e., resistant "super bugs" that we have no antibiotics for, increasing allergies, reduced immune function, this may interest you. If not, well, maybe it should. Many times we don't look at health seriously until something in our lives happen to move us to change.  

My last shipment of  four horses from Europe was detained in quarantine for eleven days rather than the usual two. Upon import to NY, one of my horses had landed with a mild fever. Two days later three of my four horses were cleared for released but the usual protocol of sending them to a holding barn or farm nearby until the sick horse could be released was not an option.  Apparently, the recent outbreak of the herpes virus that had killed several horses and shut down the beginning of the Florida show circuit had caused area barn owners and managers to refuse "holdover" horses. And who could blame them? If it were me, I would say no also.  I was told all of my horses had to stay in quarantine, healthy or not. Drs. Davis and Koupman were so wonderful during these eleven days answering my questions and discussing my concerns without fail. My horses couldn't have been in better hands. But, the worst was yet to come. One by one the rest of my horses became sick over the next week, all with swollen lymph nodes and fevers  As two days turned into eleven, they seemed to be getting worse and not better. Several vets thought they all were coming down with strangles. I was starting to panic. In my frustration, I began researching the internet for a product that could strengthen my horses' immune systems and help fight off their infection. I knew the cause of their illness was directly related to their compromised immune systems which was due to the stress from their transport.  

What I discovered through my research was absolutely amazing. A product is Transfer Factor tm . But then I realized they had a 38 hour van ride to Colorado. They were very fit and looked great. No signs of upper respiratory infection, no snotty noses and no fevers! After a few days of rest we put them right to work.
